Our Vision

Our vision is to raise the level-of-consciousness in all regarding addiction by debunking the negative connotations/myths, and educating the community at large; while erasing the stigma of addiction today, tomorrow, forever.

We Believe

At the core of our belief system is our fundamental and unwavering faith in humanity, and the resilient nature all persons intrinsically possess to overcome and/or rise above seemingly insurmountable challenges and obstacles to live their best life.

We Believe in helping all people who have lost their way because of a substance disorder.
We believe that all people can rise above their obstacles and challenges.
We believe that all people can rise above their substance abuse, misuse, and addiction.
We believe that like the mythical Greek Phoenix, all can rise from the ashes (obstacles, challenges, drug use, misuse, and addiction) and live their best life anew.

Our Mission

Our mission is two-fold:

(1) To Welcome, Embrace, Love, and Accept, without prejudice, all people who desire to Rise above their drug misuse, abuse, and addiction by providing the kind of patient care that is available and there when You are ready to Start Recovery and begin living your best life.

(2) We all have a part in ensuring the health and well-being of all in need of assistance and support from unhealthy behaviors. With understanding and care, our part is to educate, assist and support those who would take that first step towards recovery and a better life for themselves and their family.

The Rise of the Phoenix, The Rise of You!

We have all heard the remarkable story of the mythical Phoenix rising from the ashes. The phoenix is an immortal bird associated with Greek mythology that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. Some legends say it dies in a show of flames and combustion, others that it simply dies and decomposes before being born again.

In present times, a person who makes a comeback after undergoing a great trauma or a great defeat is called a ‘phoenix’.

Recovery Starts Now's logo represents the dawn of a new day (yellow circle) when the Phoenix (you) rises remarkably from the abyss, the ashes, serving as a powerful visual image of your empowerment and achievement.
