Recovery Starts Now's belief system and guiding values were developed by its Founder/President/Program Director, Tomas Madrigal. 

The values (1) reflect his personal journey through treatment, the Rise of the Phoenix, and the educational process of becoming a member in the industry; (2) reflect the collective voice of client feedback and collaborating care with health care professionals. These values guide us in our daily endeavors on the frontlines of substance misuse, abuse, and addiction.

It takes a team-Community, family, friends, and health care professionals working collaboratively in understanding and overcoming the stigma of addiction 

Understanding & Compassion-effective counseling requires understanding and compassion without prejudice. 

Continuing Education-we are committed to staying abreast, educated, and current on the latest issues, research, treatment trends, and studies in addiction; as well as educating the community on the truths regarding addiction and treatment.
